well if you can find a capable shooter who can do it you will have done better than the warren commission and the fbi put together because they couldnt come up with one expert marksman who could do it.

if you google seymore weitzman (one of the officers who found the rifle )you can read his sworn affidavid that the rifle he found was a 7.65 mauser.as for death bed confessions well it seems any one who would have had or could have had vital info that could have solved the case has died ,ill leave people decide if their deaths were natural or if they were murdered to cover up the assassination.
