Comment on John F. Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy Theories by David Emerling.

The evidence is STRONG against Oswald. If nothing else, his behavior in the immediate aftermath of the assassination WREAKS of consciousness-of-guilt. If he never fired a shot, then why did he gun down Officer J.D. Tippit and attempt to shoot another officer while resisting arrest in the Texas Theater? Then Oswald told provable lies during his interrogation. For instance, he denied ever owning a rifle. Immediately afterwards, he was confronted with a blown up photo of him HOLDING the same rifle that was discovered hidden on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository. Shocked that the police already had this kind of evidence, he claimed that it was a composite. I mean, what ELSE could he say?

Yet, the House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA), over 15 years later, with the advantage of more sophisticated photographic technology convened a board of photographic experts and determined that the famous “backyard photos” were genuine & unaltered.

Even Marina Oswald testified that she took those photos.

Claiming Oswald was completely innocent is just plain foolish. It requires one to ignore a MOUNTAIN of evidence and corroborated testimony.
